Splitting into two cells near Robertson, the larger cell seen here passed behind the Illawarra Escarpment, while the other continued out to sea. The larger cell in the above photo, eventually drifted down the back of the escarpment towards Sydney's Cumberland Plain.

The whales are on their way back to the cooler waters of the Antarctic. A mother Humpback and calf seen here off Hill 60, Port Kembla, New South Wales, Australia on Monday November 3, 2008. This pair were one of three pods seen on the day, making their way through the nearby Five Islands uring their journey past the Illawarra and South Coast.

Is this shiny white dot with cloud behind it some kind of space junk falling back to earth? It was discovered while cleaning a print resolution version of a shot appearing in Race 10 of the 2006 BMW Winter Series. The cloud does not seem to appear on any other shots either side but it is in this shot as well as the original raw file which can only be saved into another file format after being altered. Go to Page 9 of Race 10 to see the full shot.
