Tsunamis and earthquakes in Chile,
Haiti, Samoa and Indonesia; floods and mudslides from
typhoons in the Philippines and Vietnam; fires in Victoria
last Summer;
all difficult situations for all that have to endure
them. And as always, the Red Cross is there on the ground,
helping those who really need it. For any information
on how you can assist the Australian and International
Red Cross in helping them with their recovery operations,
please visit the Australian
Red Cross
website,

Carlo
Borlenghi’s assistants Stefano Gattini and Bruno
Cocozza have photographed the XXVI Primo Cup - Trophée
Credit Suisse, a photographic assignment for the Yacht
Club de Monaco in Montecarlo and four pages of their
work can be accessed from the link on this page. Carlo’s
assignment for Alinghi in Valencia covering the 33rd
America’s cup with Guido Trombetta and Luca Buttò is
now over, but a few more photos may be added later.
To see more of their work, a visit to Carlo’s
website at www.carloborlenghi.com is
highly recommended.
An article I have been wanting to publish for a while
has now been uploaded that covers one of the highlights
for me, of last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart. The
pictures are a little rough, but the story, Difficulties
on the Derwent is great.
If possible as time is really tight at the moment, more articles of the Rolex
Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2009 will be added as with additional photos to the Online
Photo Gallery. Other missing in-between articles covering the Hobart may
also be uploaded over the next few weeks, and will be identified by the word "NEW" in
bright yellow, next to each article’s link at the bottom of the Rolex Sydney
Hobart Yacht Race 2009 index
page.
Rolex Trophy
one Design and Ratings Series will be revisited when things get
a bit quiet. There are many photos that are still to be assessed
so there will be new material to be seen later. Photos from the
Ratings Series that are available to view can be accesed from
this direct link: http://www.outimage.net/cmine/thumbnails.php?album=58.
